Illini Mets is proud to announce a MOCNA Regional Meet to be held in conjunction with the Micro/Mini Car World Meet, being held August 21-22, 2010 in Crystal Lake Ill. Including the Metropolitans, there will be almost 500 small cars to enjoy! This is a 2-Day show, please plan to attend both days.
We will start our festivities on Thursday night August 19th, 2010 with a welcome reception. Friday, August 20, 2010 will include a driving tour of Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, stops at some car museums and lunch along the way someplace. As time passes, a final schedule will be announced. Saturday and Sunday will be the show in Crystal Lake, IL
You MUST register for both events.
The Forms are available below or they will also be available at the Micro/Mini Car World website www.worldmeet2010.com and the Illini Mets website: www.illinimets.org.
Our Metropolitans will be included in the Micro/Mini classes and will be eligible for Micro/Mini trophies at the Saturday night Awards Presentation. We will have our own Metropolitan “Peoples Choice” and “Concours” Judging with our trophy presentation at noon Sunday.
If you plan to have your car Concours judged, please notify Rex Hamil 248-666-9455 or Gary Bosselman 815-389-9500, prior to the meet.
We have reserved 45-rooms at the Hampton Inn, 1555 S. Route 31, McHenry, IL 60050.
Please call 815-578-1900 to reserve your rooms before July 20, 2010. After that date, rooms will be first come, first serve. This hotel is about 10 miles north of the show field in Crystal Lake.
